WICKSTEAD EQUINE THERAPY CENTRE RUNS ALONG SIDE THE TAPNER EVENTING TEAM WHICH RUNS A TEAM OF APPROXIMATELY 30 COMPETITION HORSES RANGING FROM YOUNG STOCK TO ELITE LEVEL FOUR STAR EVENT HORSES
The Wickstead Equine Therapy Centre is managed by Emily Drummond-Dunn who is herself an Event rider who has been part of the Tapner Eventing Team for over 12 months. Emily is very dedicated to the care and well being of the horses of the Tapner Eventing Team and also of all those that come into our care via our Therapy Services.

The Co-proprietors of the Wickstead Equine Therapy Centre are Paul and Georgina Tapner. Paul is a professional international event rider who has been based at Wickstead Farm Equestrian Centre for nearly 10 years. Georgina was born and bred at Wickstead! She has been a professional horse person all her working life and now concentrates the majority of her time towards the management of the Tapner Eventing Team.

Wickstead Farm Equestrian Centre is a National Trust property with 500 acres of grass and arable land. Wickstead Farm has excellent equestrian facilities including a horse walker, approximately 80 loose boxes of various sizes, floodlight indoor and outdoor schools, cross country courses and about 9 miles of off road riding and grass gallops.

Paul and Georgina Tapner have recently set up the Wickstead Equine Therapy Centre to run alongside the Tapner Eventing Team. The rehabilitation and therapy services offered through the centre have grown from the normal soundness management procedures developed and used by the Tapner Eventing Team in keeping their team of Elite Level competition horses on the road and coping with the extreme pressures put on their horses physically to perform at their best at the top level of Eventing.

We work with many various equine professionals and believe a proactive and varied individualistic approach to a horses physically well being, be it for injury prevention or injury rehabilitation is essential for success.
